Sarah + Emerson Miller | Holland, MI Wedding

On May 25, 2024, Sarah and Emerson tied the knot at their hometown church and celebrated their union at Boatwerks Waterfront Restaurant. Their wedding was officiated by the groom’s dad, which made for a highly personal and emotional wedding ceremony. Photos were taken at a historic, abandoned greenhouse in Downtown Holland. Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed a lakefront cocktail hour, which Sarah and Emerson entered on a boat. One of the most cherished traditions of the day was the groom's cake—an 83-year-long family tradition. Featuring an image of Emerson in a doghouse, this cake symbolized generations of love and unity within the Olney family, creating a touching link to the past while celebrating the future.. The waterfront setting was nothing short of magical, with Lake Macatawa providing a picturesque backdrop for their special day.
